Samui Elephant Home (in full, Samui Elephant Home Caring & Education Center) is in Namuang. You prepare the elephants' food and feed them, walk through the jungle, watch their natural mud bath and help the mahouts gently splash water to cool them down. There is an elephant museum, and you can make seed bombs. Its own site says the rescued elephants roam freely without riding or performances. The Half Day runs 9am to 12pm or 2pm to 5pm with round-trip hotel transfer and vegetarian food; the Nursery Feeding is 1 hour at 11am or 2pm, transfer included.
