Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Samui is the hands-on choice: you get in with the elephants. On the Half Day (3 hours, pickup 8 to 8:45am or 12 to 12:45pm, a Thai meal and hotel transfer included) you hand-feed them, get messy in a mud spa and brush them clean in an outdoor pool. Feed & Shower (1.5 hours, pickup 9 to 10am or 1 to 2pm, transfer included) is feeding, then the elephants cool off under a big outdoor shower. Feed Me (1 hour) has no transport, so you come by car. Its own site says: no riding, no performance. All ages are welcome, and the site says close parental supervision is essential. Bring a swimsuit and walking shoes; the last part of the drive is on an unpaved road. Pickup is from hotels, not from Airbnbs or villas. The Half Day meets at its Soi 1 camp in Maenam, the shorter visits at its Soi 2 camp (141/53 Moo 3) nearby. It is one of a group of Elephant Jungle Sanctuary camps in Thailand.
